laura ~ cubit's sells ethical seeds for edible gardens. we especially love rare, heirloom and organic seeds. we grow our seeds in a series of city gardens and have just started growing on a larger scale on a farm outside of the city.
stephinie ~ you have so many beautiful and unique heirloom seeds to offer, what is one of your favorites?
laura ~ colourful carrots are our best seller. kids especially like growing them as they are easy to grow and it's really fun to pull out different coloured carrots. we've expanded our tomato selection this year and my favourite one is reisetomate.
stephinie ~ running a small business and raising a family is hard work. how do you and ryan find balance in your days?
laura ~ cubit's is a family business and ryan and are happiest when working together on a project. by working from home and involving the whole family we get to spend plenty of time together while teaching our children the value of hard work. (laura also shared a wonderful piece on her blog about this recently.)
